ABOUT FCS

   Family & Consumer Science encourages individuals and families to problem solve and manage the challenges of everyday living in a global society. Aurora High school has classes that focus on families, human development, career preparation, and making tasty balanced meals.

   The mission of Family & Consumer Sciences Education is to prepare students for family life, work life, and careers in Family and Consumer Sciences by providing opportunities to develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors needed for success.

FCS POINTS OF FOCUS

  • Strengthening the well-being of individuals and families across the life span.

  • Promoting optimal nutrition and wellness across the life span.

STAR EVENT FUN!
